Untitled-1

I inherited 4 or 5 boxes of kodachrome slides from my father.

My father was a soldier in the colonial war and that was the reason for those images to exist, even though they were mostly landscapes.

I never heard a war story from my father’s mouth.

8x10 is built from one of those slides.

The image on the slide is divided into 80 equal parts, creating a sequence.

The 80 new images were then printed in inkjet on acetate, and mounted on slide frames.

The acetate inkjet prints are projected using a circular slide projector that allows 80 slides.

_80 inkjet prints on acetate mounted on slide frames,  circular slide projector, mirror, glass and steel table, tracing paper.
