Gonçalo Duarte, Aveiro 1978. Master in Contemporary Artistic Practices at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Porto (2018). Graduated in Audiovisual Communication Technology by the Escola Superior de Música Artes e Espectáculo of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto (2015) and holds the Professional Photography course, by the Portuguese Photography Institute (Porto, 2009). He attended the architecture course at the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Science and Technology, University of Coimbra. Visual Artist, regularly exhibits his work since 2015. He uses photography, video and sound, also developing installation and performative installation in his practice. He has been a professional photographer since 2009. He is a guest lecturer at the Higher School of Media Arts and Design at the Polytechnic Institute of Porto in the audiovisual area. Currently attending the PhD program in Contemporary Art at the College of Arts of the University of Coimbra.
